Can’t get a much better whole food drink than this one after a big day and it tastes amazing.
With the added benefit of giving your body electrolytes and good fats, it also has an antibacterial effect to clean the stomach.
Pour the coconut water into the blender with all of the flesh and some ice. Blend to perfection.
Here is a super EASY and QUICK (and delicious!) recipe you can try that we came up with last week:
Salmon Mushroom Cups
All you will need is three main ingredients:
1. The biggest, freshest, field mushrooms you can find
2. A can of salmon (or tuna) we found the soy and ginger one from Aldi delicious
3. Pink Himalayan Sea Salt and Cracked Pepper / Parmasen cheese to sprinkle on top
Just get some of the big delicious field mushrooms, crack open a can of salmon (or you could use tuna), we found a soy and ginger one from Aldi was delicious, top with salt and pepper and a little parmasen cheese, pop in the oven and bake until juicy and golden on top!
We created a side of Kale chips by placing some chopped Kale around the mushrooms and baking alongside (just spray with Extra Virgin Olive Oil Spray and a sprinkle of pink himalayan sea salt) some steamed broccoli and cherry tomatoes.
This healthy meal is so quick, and filling, and literally takes only a few minutes to prepare.

In her Personal Training with Carlie Kerri lost 6 Kilos in her first 6 weeks, then went on to lost 12.5 Kilos by the time of writing her story below, and has now lost a total of 14.5 Kilos by the time we are now publishing this blog post!! (By the time you are reading this she has probably smashed another goal!!) 🙂

“My name is Kerri – 4 months ago I was at a low point. Overweight, bad diet, unhappy about my appearance and lacking energy for my 3 and a half year old. I needed a change, it was something I had been thinking about for some time, just didn’t know where to start. My sister rang Fresh Fitness and talked to Carlie to tell her of my situation (because I was too scared). Carlie was completely understanding and told her to tell me to come in for a chat. To which I did and from that day, my life changed completely.
My excuse was always the same. How am I going to fit any exercise in to my day? “I’m a full time working mother to a 3 year old and a wife, I don’t have time for that!!” Now I need to do something every day. 1 Hour of exercise out of my day and I feel so much happier, more energised and it’s just a part of everyday now.
Training with Carlie is the best thing I ever started. She is friendly, helpful, fun & motivating – we share recipes and the exercise is always varied and I walk away feeling like I’ve had a great work out. Thanks to her help, I have lost (so far) 12 Kgs. In addition to the exercise, Carlie has helped me with my diet changes, made me start having breakfast and generally gives me great advice and direction to which I follow.
As a lover of all things fashion, I can once again fit in to nice clothes, my family and I have a new healthy diet and I have lots of energy to run around with my son. I am very grateful for the help I’ve had from Carlie and Shea and am looking forward to training and learning even more from them in the future.”

“I signed up for my first boot camp with Fresh Fitness in September, having given birth to my second child 6 months earlier. My brother and his fiancée had completed a number of Fresh Fitness boot camps and I had witnessed their incredible results first hand, so when I wanted to regain some core strength and fitness (and hopefully lose some more of the weight I’d gained during my pregnancy) I decided to give boot camp a go.
I have never been very athletic, and I was hesitant and nervous going along for the first time, but Carlie and Shea were so supportive and encouraging and they facilitate such a friendly environment that I immediately felt at ease. Their ‘challenge by choice’ philosophy meant that I could take things at my own pace, but at the same time their encouragement compelled me to push myself further. I found Shea and Carlie to be very accessible. They were only too willing to provide guidance with regards to nutrition and exercise and I found, as I followed their instructions, the weight started to come off. I began to look forward to the sessions and enjoyed the fact that each night was something different.
Fast forward 12 weeks and I am feeling stronger, fitter and happier. I have lost 12kgs which is double what I set out to lose and has me at my lowest weight since before my first pregnancy. I am so grateful to Carlie and Shea for the incredible service that they provide and I found that I enjoyed the sessions so much that I’ve signed up for the next boot camp and can’t wait to take my journey further.” Adele Prickett

This inspirational sweet heart who has just turned 7 years old is cutting 12 inches off her beautiful long blonde hair at the end of February, to help make a difference to children effected by cancer.
